Ralph Vernon Baker
Ralph Vernon Baker, 68, of Qulin died Sunday April 15th 2001 at Qulin Senior Housing Center in Qulin. Mr. Baker was born November 7th 1932 in Qulin. He was a member of the Elk General Baptist Church and previously had resided in the St. Louis area for 13 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his stepmother, Daisy Baker of Qulin; one son, Tony Baker of Florrisant; one daughter, Charlotte Douglas of Normandy; three brothers, Clint Baker of Hazelwood, Clifford and Bill Baker, both of Qulin; two sisters, Maxine Taylor of Pevely and Geraldine Watson of Potosi; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 5.00 P.M. Tuesday at the White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. The funeral service will be at 11.00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Reverend Darren Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Qulin Cemetery.
