Two youths from Belleville, Illinois held up the Bank of Qulin this afternoon, escaping with approximately $3,500.00, but were captured in Poplar Bluff after a race with two officers who followed them for three miles. Qulin is a small town twenty-five miles south of Poplar Bluff in Butler County.
The captured robbers said they were James Tyler, 19, and Gene Cooner, 21. Both said they came from Belleville, Illinois to get money to start a business there. They said it was their first robbery.

MISSOURI LADY TELLS HOW SHE GOT STRONGER AND HOW AWFUL HURTING WENT AWAY AFTER SHE HAD TAKEN CARDUI.
QULIN, MISSOURI
“For some time I had been having an awful time with pains in my back and sides,” said Mrs. Robert Creasy of this place. “This awful hurting would come on me, and I could find nothing to ease the pain. “My head would ache until I felt as if it would split open. “I was very weak and nervous. It looked like the least little thing would upset me. I was cross with the children, and I had no patience for anything. “Often, when I would get up in the morning, I would have to go back to bed, I was so weak. I dragged through my work, but it took all my strength to do it. “I tried many remedies, but nothing did me any good until I started taking Cardui. I had read how Cardui had helped others, and so I wanted to try it myself.
Cardui proved to be all that was said of it. I took it for several months regularly. At the end of that time, I was in good health and have been so ever since. I gained in weight, my appetite was good, and I was able to do all my housework without it hurting me. The pains quit coming.
